The Panasonic AG-HVX200 is a fixed-lens high-definition video camera that can record HD on solid-state P2 cards or DV on MiniDV tapes. This workshop is an in-depth, hands-on look at the Panasonic AG-HVX200 camcorder. Participants will learn the physical and digital camera controls as well special features unique to this video camera, such as Variable Frame Rate. The P2 tapeless workflow, from production to post using FCP, will also be covered in detail. Basic video or film camera knowledge is recommended.

  • Lee Rickwood
    Lee Rickwood is an award-winning corporate video producer and freelance writer/editor. He is involved in the production of digital video and media content for museums, art galleries and other cultural institutions. He regularly contributes articles about digital media techniques and technologies to various industry publications in Canada and the U.S. Lee is a longtime member of TSV, and a former member of its Board of Directors. He teaches media workshops for TSV and other education or training facilities.
